Xpose’s Lisa Cannon & rugby star Richard Keatley tie the knot in a romantic Italian ceremony and what a stunning wedding it was!
TV3 star Lisa Cannon married her long-term boyfriend Richard Keatley in Florence yesterday. The bride looked stunning in a classic ivory and white wedding dress by British designer Suzanna Neville. The gown had a structured crepe bodice with diamond encrusted cap sleeves, a full organza silk skirt, and an embellished band around around the waist. She accessorised with Jimmy Choo shoes and cathedral two-tier veil.
Lisa’s hair was swept to the side in loose Hollywood-style curls, and she carried a large bouquet of pastel pink and orange blooms. The groom wore a Hugo Boss classic tuxedo suit and dickie bow. The bridesmaids looked gorgeous in full-length mink dresses by Synan O’Mahony.
The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at a local chapel before making their way to the Villa San Michele for the reception party. Famous faces in attendance included Xpose anchors Glenda Gilson and Aisling O’Loughlin, producer Debbie O’Donnell, and presenters Sinead Desmond and Sybil Mulcahy.
Lisa walked up the aisle to a rendition of The Beatles’ All You Need Is Love, performed by tenor George Hutton, who starred in RTE’s Exiles.
The generous bride flew her wedding cake baker to Italy to ensure that her wedding cake was perfect. The couple hired the same caterer as used by Kim Kardashian when she married Kanye West in 2014.
