Let’s hope the Irish summer ahead will lend it self to showcasing the wonderful new garden that the Headfort launched last year year. Bridal couples now arrive to the family run venue via the new garden entrance which hosts beautiful bespoke white gates. Guests will enjoy the new paved areas, giant parasols and setting areas rain or shine. The garden is now also self-contained with its own bar, rest rooms, and BBQ making it the perfect backdrop to civil ceremonies which can now be held outside in the venue.
Civil and Humanist wedding packages, that caters for couples who do not want a religious ceremony, are very much increasing in popularity. Equally for those who wish to embrace the autumnal or winter seasons, the Headfort is known for its open fires, homely atmosphere and an Irish welcome.
‘Your day your way,’ is very much the service offered by the Headfort. Couples can customise their menus, special touches and theme with the help of a great team of in house wedding cooredinators who are on hand from start to finish and ensure that the Headfort really offers that personal wedding experience.
Fully Inclusive packages are also on offer to take away the sometimes stress of planning away. Packages include a luxury hotel reception package with five-course dinner, floristry, stationary, wedding cake, live band, professional DJ, photography, videography and full venue dressing from €8,500 for 100 persons (on selected dates). Mid week inclusive packages start at €39.95 per person.
Full wedding weekend packages are also which include a ‘next day’ garden party, with pig on the spit or casual food offerings customised as you wish.
The Duff family still promise only one wedding per day, exclusive use of their beautiful gardens, private car park and freshly carved food prepared in front of your guests from local suppliers, which forms part of the hotel’s Guaranteed Irish charter.
