Inspired by the modern bride wedding dress.ie wanted their first collection titled ‘LoveBridal’ to be creative and contemporary rather than traditional.
Irish dress designer, Jill Anderson, has created a stunning range of affordable and eye catching bridalwear for the new LoveBridal Collection from wedding dress.ie made from only the highest quality fabrics.
As Jill explains, ‘Gone are the days when all newly engaged couples are lucky enough to have their dream wedding paid for by the mother-of-the bride’s family. Today the majority of young, professional couples bear most of the cost of the wedding celebrations themselves and this collection is for the modern bride who wants that special dress, the one that makes her feel magical when she puts it on but will not cost the earth.’
‘We passionately believe that a bride’s wedding dress should be an extension of her personality, emphasising her natural beauty and not hiding who she is. With this in mind our label includes a variety of styles such as short tea dresses as well as full-length gowns,’ comments Jill. ‘There is no such thing as the standard bride, so we have included a variety of styles so that our collection is as unique as our brides,’ she adds.
‘Our signature look is definitely simple and elegant with clean lines. We use luxurious fabrics that flatter the body shape and drape exquisitely, and for this initial collection I wanted to offer dresses that marry timeless elegance with a modern twist.’
All of the dresses from weddingdress.ie are made in Ireland, therefore they can cater for brides who need their dresses in a hurry. The dresses are made in their atelier within the Fashion Hothouse in Harold’s Cross, Dublin, which brides get to see when they visit the boutique also located here.
There is also a bespoke design service for brides who might have a vision of their dream dress, but can’t find exactly what they are looking for, whether its the fit or liking certain elements of a dress design but not the whole garment. Jill and her team are happy to meet with clients for a consultation whereby they can discuss different options from altering an existing design or having a completely bespoke dress made for them.
‘Our current collection offers 15 distinct styles which come in a made-to-measure option, as well as a standard size range, however, there is no standard bride so our service has to be as unique as them.
Prices start from €800 and turnaround time can be as little as four weeks. All of the current dress designs as well as any new styles over time and complementary accessories are available via weddingdress.ie
