Designed Just For You

Having your headpiece designed for you can be the easiest option. You get to bring your ideas to life and have a headpiece created that is totally unique.‘I listen to your ideas and carefully consider various details using my experience and expertise to advise you of what will suit you, your chosen hairstyle and your gown,’ explains Deborah, who will guide you through the process and design a headpiece that is just perfect for you and the overall look you are trying to achieve.

‘Consider the shade of your dress and any detailing on it. Even if your dress has lots of detailing it doesn’t mean that you can’t pair it with an equally embellished, but complementary headpiece,’ adds Deborah.

Veil or No Veil?

So, can you wear a headpiece if you’re wearing a veil? According to Deborah, the answer is usually a yes. ‘Headpieces can enhance and complete your look and my headpieces are so versatile they can be worn with either a classic or unstructured veil.

‘If you are wearing an overly detailed lace trim veil be careful not to go for a very detailed headpiece at the front or side. Keep it a little more simple if wearing to the front or opt for a more dramatic headpiece at the back.

‘Remember once you take your veil off after the photographs or the meal your headpiece will be seen to its full beauty,’ adds Deborah.

Consider Your Hair

Having an idea of how you will be wearing your hair will help when choosing your headpiece. Consider where you would like your headpiece to sit and this will help to decide how your headpiece is attached.

Not Sure if a Headpiece is for You?

Why not opt for a few diamanté, pearl or flower hairpins,’ recommends Deborah. ‘These can be stunning and versatile, and will complement most hairstyles and veils.’
