From the low key bun to the dramatic bouffant, we reveal the hottest wedding hair trends for brides…

Your wedding day ‘look’ isn’t just about your dress. The make-up you wear and the hair style you choose also define your bridal style on the day.

So what looks are the chicest brides going to choose for their hair in the months ahead?

The experts at Haitrtrade.com have looked into their crystal ball and predicted that the top wedding hair trends for 2016 will include short bobs, quiffs, floral garlands and more…

Quiffs

A soft, feminine quiff is the modern take on a more structured bridal updo.

Low buns

Buns have always been popular with brides as they keep hair neat and tidy and don’t distract from the overall look.  Ballet style top knots are being replaced with low buns which are more elegant and less severe.

Pretty Hairbands

Alice bands are back and the prettier the better. Hairbands work with any length of hair and are ideal if yours is a relaxed and laid back wedding where the odd stray hair won’t look out of place. Add a spot of glamour with embellished bands using diamante, pearl or beading.

Short bobs

Short choppy bobs are very on trend and as long as your tresses don’t look too tousled, this is a great wedding day look. Opt for loose curls rather than a messy bed head look.

Wild curls

Curly hair? Don’t care! Let those locks run wild and show off your curls in their full glory. Ditch those straighteners and allow your natural wave to work its wonders.

Floral garlands

One to be avoided if you’re not the girly type – floral garlands are ideal you are planning a fun, festival wedding. Think sixties but way cooler.

Bouffants

If you take your inspiration from the past and are planning a vintage themed wedding then the classic bouffant is the look for you. This modern beehive is easily achieved by back combing the hair and works brilliantly with a 50’s inspired tea-length wedding dress.
