Top 30! Ballerina, tea-length and short wedding dresses
Short wedding dresses for the non-traditional bride
This week’s glorious sunshine has increased our enthusiasm for short wedding dresses – here’s our top thirty
Above the knee
There are lots of above the knee wedding dress styles to choose from in 2016 and 2017 collections, from the fun and flirty tiered Marchesa style, to the figure hugging, sexy Ronald Joyce mini, and the glamorous thirties-inspired fringed Riki Dalal number.
As with all shorter styles, be sure to accessorise with statement bridal shoes.
Knee length wedding dresses reveal a little less leg, while still keeping you cool on a hot summer’s day.
Below the knee
From tea-length to just under the knee, these styles are a great option for the alternative bride who wants a traditional wedding dress silhouette with a more modern edge. The Romantica style pictured retains the shape of a traditional ball gown paired with a funky shorter length.
Almost full-length but not quite, pretty ballerina length dresses stop just above the ankles.
This length looks particularly good paired with full skirts, imagine twirling and spinning around the dance floor in the White Rose dress pictured.
