As one of the most hotly anticipated events in Ireland, hoards of fans were eagerly awaiting a glimpse of Suzanne Jackson, Ireland’s most successful fashion and beauty blogger, as she tied the knot on Saturday to her long-term partner Dylan O’Connor.
The bride arrived in style to Balbriggan, outside Dublin, opting for a silver Rolls Royce as transport with a personalised number plate saying ‘Suzanne & Dylan’. The couple said their ‘I Do’s in their local church in the Skerries, before happily posing in front of a stunning floral arch, which they then used to share an image with Suzanne’s 214K Instagram followers.
After the emotional ceremony, guests then drove to the prestigious five-star Powerscourt Estate in Co Wicklow, for a delicious meal and a night of dancing.
The couple, who have been engaged since a romantic trip to the Maldives in 2015, had been eagerly sharing details on social media of their upcoming nuptials, leaving fans excited for the date!
Speaking before the wedding, Suzanne said of her future hubby:
“Our marriage will last a lifetime. I know it will because I wouldn’t marry someone if I didn’t feel they were the ultimate soul mate for me. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to marry than Dylan”.
The wedding certainly didn’t disappoint, as Suzanne was every inch the flawless bride…
Suzanne, who runs fashion and beauty blog ‘So Sue Me’ stunned in a breath-taking bespoke creation by Hailey Paige, with a plunging sweetheart neckline, full tulle skirt and delicate lace sleeves.
The look was paired with her dark hair styled into a vintage, Hollywood glamour-style wave, a lace veil and a green and white floral bouquet. The princess style gown with pearl and organza was a Hailey Paige creation from McElhinney’s Department store in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal.
The bride then changed into a second dress for the wedding reception- where all eyes have been on social media in the hopes of getting a glimpse of the second gown. Whilst it has mainly been kept under wraps, Ceira Lambert, a celebrity hairdresser, shared a sneak peek at the outfit change, which highlights another plunging neckline number with lace and embellishment. Sue’s bridal hair look was created by Joanne Kelly and her flawless makeup by the amazing Louise McDonnell of LMD Makeup.
The groom of course complimented the bride perfectly donning a three-piece dark grey suit with a waistcoat and white tie.
Sue had five bridesmaids who donned blush pink full-length gowns with intricate lace bodices. She also had three little bridesmaids wore traditional white dresses to match the bride, complete with baby’s breath floral crowns – how adorable?!
I knew it! Suzanne Jackson was a McElhinneys Bridal Rooms, Ballybofey bride wearing Hayley Paige!
