How do I enter?

Entry is via www.weddingjournalonline.com/reader-awards. Click on the category you wish to enter and fill in all of the required information. Within all categories you will be asked to include a 250 word submission on your business and four hi-res images.

What is the closing date of entry?

The closing date for registration for all categories is Friday 4th May 2018 at 9am.

Voting will commence from here.

What is the cost of entry?

For Suppliers it is £60/€60 to enter one category; £30/€30 for a second category and free for the third and subsequent categories.

For Venues it is £100/€100 to enter one category; £50/€50 for a second category and free for the third and subsequent categories.

Can I enter more than one category?

Yes, you can enter as many categories as are applicable to you in both the Belfast and Dublin award categories.

How is my entry judged?

No voting takes place during registration period (10/4/18 – 23/4/18). Initial voting will then begin on the 7th May, until the 25th of May.

The finalists in each category are determined on the number of votes they have received during this period – so it is vital that you encourage votes for your business. See HOW CAN I GAIN READER VOTES for further information.

From 29th May until 10th June all of the finalists in each category will go forward for further readers’ votes and on to our independent judging panel.

ROI winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Dinner in Dublin and NI winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Dinner in Belfast.

For those who entered for BELFAST it is on Sunday the 10th June in the Crowne Plaza Hotel and for those who entered for DUBLIN it is on Sunday 24th June in the Ballsbridge Hotel.

  • Entrants may not offer a prize to incentivise voting and MUST use marketing material provided.
