Wedding Journal Reader Awards advice for businesses
Information for businesses on the nomination and voting process in the Wedding Journal Reader Awards 2016
The Wedding Journal Reader Awards are determined by public vote.
The public are first asked to nominate for their favourite business in each category. The five businesses with the most nominations in each category are placed in the final.
The public are then asked to vote for their favourite business in each category and the business with the most votes is announced as the winner.
Only one vote per email address is allowed.
As a business you are not allowed to use competitions or incentives to get people to nominate or vote for you.
Anyone found doing so will be disqualified from the competition
Marketing your company
A key part of your marketing strategy should be to encourage customers to nominate or vote for you.

- Put this link out on your Facebook page weddingjournalonline.com/readerawards and ask people to nominate and vote for you
- Tweet out this link weddingjournalonline.com/readerawards using your business Twitter account and ask people to retweet it for you and give you their nomination or vote
- Use your website to promote the Wedding Journal Reader Awards and ask people to vote for you.
- Talk to your customers. Tell people about the awards and ask them to nominate or vote for you. You could print out flyers and pass them out to customers asking for their vote
