According to ‘The Telegraph’ Meghan Markle has been officially invited to Pippa Middleton’s wedding as Prince Harry’s other half, breaking tradition to the ‘no ring, no bring’ rule for many prospective couples – and a popular tradition for the Royals.
Having been spotted sharing a loving kiss at the Coworth Park Polo Club at the weekend, it is thought this relationship will soon be made ‘royally official’, after the couple have begun appearing at public events together, having previously avoided all publicity and cameras. Miss Markle and Prince Harry have been dating for almost a year, and it had been speculated that an engagement could be imminent following Meghan’s announcement of her blog ‘The Tig’ closing:
She said: “What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity. You’ve made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy.” However it was now time to “say goodbye”.
It was two years before Kate Middleton (now Duchess of Cambridge) attended a public polo event with Prince William, signalling that Harry and Meghan may be serious about each other after being together only one year. Originally from Canada and living in Toronto, Meghan has also been spending an increasing amount of time staying with Harry in Kensington, indicating things could be getting serious .
Pippa Middleton’s wedding to hedge fund millionaire James Matthews will be the most high-profile wedding of 2017, with many royals present including the adorable Prince George and Princess Charlotte acting page boy and flower girl (we cannot wait to see how adorable they are). They will marry on May 20th at St Marks Church in Berkshire, close to where the Duchess of Cambridge and her family grew up.
There has been speculation that Vogue Williams- girlfriend of Spencer Matthews (James’s best man) has not made the cut for Pippa’s wedding guest-list, further fuelling the fire that Prince Harry is to propose to Miss Markle as the relationship becomes more serious and she has received that all important invite.
Could we have a second royal wedding on the cards sometime soon? We certainly hope so!
