What inspired you to open your shop?
“It was something I have wanted since I was 14. Growing up when a teacher asked ‘what would you like to be when you grow up?’, my reply was always a designer. It wasn’t until my cousin’s wedding back in 2004 that the whole wedding thing captured my imagination. Since then I was always doodling and designing wedding dresses. I had a fantastic art teacher at the time, Mrs Moffatt from Dunclug College, who instantly recognised I had a passion for this and helped me learn how to sew and sketch proper illustrations, also with my cousins help I put together my first portfolio by the age of 15, and it snowballed from there, my future was set, I wanted my own bridal boutique and become a bridal designer.”

It is such a hard question as they all offer something completely different, If I had to choose it would be ‘Zendbia’ by Hollywood Dreams. Red silk, dramatic and the embellishment is to such a high quality, it makes you simply say ‘wow’, it certainly makes an impact.

What advice would you offer brides before they go wedding dress shopping?
You will know when you find the dress, you look and move differently and the smile will be a big give away. But the main thing is you will know by how you feel wearing it. Finding your wedding dress is like finding a man, when you find the one you stop looking, the same advice applies to the dress, once you find it, stop looking.
Do brides need to book an appointment with you?
Yes they do, it is compulsory as it enables us to deliver the best customer service possible to our clients.
