From plunging necklines to backless – sexy styles are in, and the thigh split wedding dress has recently been added to the mix…
It seems that Liz Hurley is not the only fan of the thigh split; Kimberley Walsh’s wedding photos were published this week and her dress featured a stylish split, as did the gown worn by bridesmaid Cheryl Fernandez Versini.
For a more modest take on the trend, you could opt for a split that stops just above the knee, such as in these styles by bridal designers Said Mahrouf and Martina Liana.
Raise the bar
Raise the split without raising eyebrows, by choosing styles that stop around the mid-thigh or just above the knee.
The sky’s the limit
If you are brave enough to fully embrace the look, the sky’s the limit. Designers have sexed wedding dresses up with double splits, and cuts that stop at the top of the thigh – for a ‘if you’ve got it flaunt it’ bridal look.
Splits up the back and front are other alternatives to the thigh split, and if you feel these styles aren’t quite sexy enough, you can rev things up a notch with a lingerie style wedding dress which leave a lot less to the imagination.
