The Duke of Wellington’s daughter Lady Charlotte Wellesley married multi-billionaire Alejandro Santo Domingo this weekend surrounded by royal guests
Lady Charlotte Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington’s daughter, married Alejandro Santo Domingo in Spain this weekend. Alejandro is a financier and philanthropist worth an estimated £3.2 billion according to Forbes.
The couple exchange vows at the Church of the Incarnation in Illora before making their way to the duke’s 2,400-acre estate and opulent 19th-century house for the reception meal.
The bride wore a bespoke cream off-the-shoulder ball gown with sleeves by Emilia Wickstead and accessorised with a custom-made cathedral veil.
Famous guests in attendance included the Duchess of Cornwall, who wore a tiered skirt and white chiffon top for the occasion. The former King of Spain Juan Carlos 1 also attended the ceremony.
James Blunt was at the wedding with his wife Sofia, who is the bride’s cousin.
Czech supermodel Eva Herzigová and former model Jemma Kidd were also there.
Locals turned out in thousands to try and catch a glimpse of the happy couple, in what’s being dubbed Spain’s wedding of the year.
