Miranda Lambert announces engagement after the cutest proposal ever- but it’s not what you think!
Miranda Lambert has just announced her engagement but fans will be surprised that it isn’t to boyfriend Anderson East! The country singer revealed live on stage at her New Jersey concert that an adorable six year old fan had popped the question backstage.
The young fan named Sebastian had come to the concert hoping to get close enough to his idol to ask her to marry him with a stunning pink engagement ring!
The singer told the crowd,
When he came to my meet and greet, he got down on one knee and he was such a gentleman, it may be my favourite proposal ever.
The country star said yes! But under the condition that Sebastian waits 25 years first.

Sebastian hadn’t managed to get hold of a backstage pass but after noticing superfan, Sarah Goddard’s meet and greet sticker he approached her and asked if she would take the ring and propose to Miranda for him. Sarah decided to go the extra mile for the six year old and convinced security that Sebastian was her son allowing him to come with her.
His mom was crying and told Sebastian “you owe sarah your life… give her a big hug and kiss.” Ill feel warm and fuzzy forever ♡ @selranda

Speaking to Today producer, Rekha Shetty on Twitter, Sarah said,
I remember what a profound impact it had on me when I first met Miranda. I wanted Sebastian to have the same opportunity.
She also revealed that the adorable six year old was extremely nervous in the meet and greet line and even practised his proposal with her.
People magazine reports that the proposal wasn’t a spur of the moment whim for besotted fan Sebastian who had purchased the ring before Christmas and had been waiting for an opportunity to give it to the singer.
We can’t wait to see the wedding in 25 years!
