Northern Irish TV presenter Christine Bleakley and footballer Frank Lampard have planned a lavish Christmas wedding
After a four-year engagement the former Dancing on Ice and The One Show presenter Christine Bleakly, and Chelsea football star Frank Lampard and will marry this Christmas.
The couple are set to the knot at the lavish members-only venue, The Arts Club in Central London on Sunday December 20th. They have asked Ed Sheeran to be the official singer at the reception, it’s reported that Ed is already booked up on their wedding date but is ‘trying to move things around’ to accommodate the couple.
The wedding is expected to be an intimate but a star-studded affair with the guest list including John Terry, Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, Phillip Schofield and Susanna Reid.
Christine and Frank have turned down big money magazine deals in a bid to keep their wedding as private as possible.
A source told the Sun:
Christine and Frank have had the date set for a while but have been trying to keep it under wraps. They want it to be an intimate affair and have only invited close friends and family. They haven’t signed a big magazine deal like a lot of stars do because it’s not their style.”
The couple first met at the Pride of Britain Awards back in October 2009 and began dating shortly afterwards. Christine has previously spoken about the ‘well thought-out process’ of bonding with Frank’s two young daughters, Isla and Luna, by Spanish model Elen Rivas. The girls spend half the week and Christine and Frank’s home and half the week with Elen.
