Irish model Gail Kaneswaran tied the knot last week to her new husband Henry Daly in a picturesque and romantic affair in the Portuguese country side.
The couple appeared to wed in a registry office in Dublin, before jetting off for a ceremony blessing and celebration at the weekend in sunny Portugal. Sharing images with her followers on Instagram, the model captioned their first picture as husband and wife saying “The day I married the man of my dreams. I couldn’t have wished for a better day” before thanking all her wedding party and suppliers.
The day I married the man of my dreams. I couldn’t have wished for a better day. Thanks to Taelor@algarveevents for helping it go so smoothly, to all my bridesmaids and groomsmen friends and family who made it all so special. Special Thankyou to @tamem_michael for creating our beautiful bridesmaids dresses, and @thesuitebride for my stunning vintage diamanté bridal jewellery that was my something borrowed. Thanks to all at @os Agostos for the stunning decor, flowers and cake and the staff at Sao Lourenco church for keeping us so cool while we said I Do! Also Thankyou to @marriedmorenos for our pictures! You were amazing Ryan and Kaylea #happywife
For the first part of the wedding, Gail donned a white wide-leg jumpsuit from Dublin based boutique ‘The Showroom’, and added a delicate lace cardigan over the top for a demure and elegant look.
This look was then contrasted for the second part of the wedding celebrations, as in the photographs of their Portuguese nuptials by Ryan and Kaylea from ‘Married Morenos’, the bride wore a vintage style sheath dress in a slinky silk material by designer Tamem Michael. With plunging neckline and spaghetti straps, the dress was decorated with period-style jewels from ‘The Suite Bride’ across her collar bones and shoulders. The model completed the look with a sheer cathedral length veil from Myrtle Ivory, which covered her dark locks in what made for a stunning bridal look.
The groom, Henry, also looked handsome in a sand coloured and sleek Hugo Boss suit with navy Ted Baker loafers, white open-necked shirt and lilac buttonhole; the perfect look for a groom having a wedding abroad. The bridesmaids wore long lilac dresses which tied in perfectly with the theme of the wedding, matching the bride’s bouquet of flowers that were in tones of soft pinks and purples.
My beautiful girls. Just looking back at how gorgeous my little lady Kiva looked. So proud of the woman she has become and it was very special to have her by my side on our super special day.
