Ireland AM’s Ciara Doherty Wedding Details Revealed

The countdown is on for the TV presenter & bride-to-be!

TV anchor Ciara Doherty, who is an Ireland AM host and TV3 presenter is getting her wedding preparations underway having picked up her bespoke wedding gown.

Ciara and her long-term partner Richard Stearn are due to get married in the coming weeks in a romantic and idyllic ceremony in the Montserrat Mountains of Barcelona, in front of 120 of their closet family and friends. The big day has been highly anticipated since the loved-up couple got engaged in Ciara’s native Donegal in 2015.

Although many details of their impending nuptials have been kept under wraps, Ciara shared an image to her Twitter account picking up her bespoke bridal gown from Limerick based bridal boutique ‘The Attic’. In the picture posted to fans, the dress is concealed within a dress bag as the blonde beauty poses alongside the dress designer Orlaith Carroll, and it has been revealed that the dress is traditional in its style.

Once the couple have said their ‘I Do’s’ they are planning a trip of a lifetime for their honeymoon. After tying the knot, the newlyweds plan on jetting off to the Americas for two-months backpacking across both North America and South America! Ciara spoke to Evoke.ie about her excitement saying:

“We’re travelling across America with a special stop at Nashville as I adore American country music! Then it’s down South America for good steak and hiking. We’ve wanted to go travelling for a long time but with work and study and buying the house it just wasn’t possible but we’re biting the bullet now and I am beyond excited”

Their two-month travel plans is a sure way to make the most of this exciting and special time in their lives as husband and wife – a honeymoon break we would all love to take!

We can’t wait to see images of the big day in Spain; no doubt they will be stunning!
