Holly Willoughby Reveals the Ultimate Wedding Regret on This Morning

Holly Willoughby has confessed her biggest wedding regret to This Morning Viewers – and you’ll be surprised it’s a common one, ladies!

Discussing all things bridal ahead of Princess Eugenie’s wedding and before the This Morning’s Live Wedding at Royal Albert Hall, Holly was asked to reveal what she would have done differently on her wedding day to hubby Dan…

Speaking from personal experience, the presenter and style icon issued a warning to brides who are hoping to wear those all important designer heels on their wedding day. In a casual conversation with her co-host, she explained:

“I wanted the massive dress and the towering heels. But I regretted it and I ended up walking around barefoot for the whole day”

And while she confessed that it was of course fun to dance the night away with no shoes on, the dress was subsequently ruined from trailing on the floor, as she says ‘the hem of my dress is ruined now’. And after spending all your hard earned money on what was probably the most expensive dress of your life – you definitely don’t want to ruin the dress of your dreams!

This isn’t the first time that Holly has shared her expert advice to brides and grooms-to-be. In a previous episode of This Morning, Holly suggested that every couple should take a step back and soak up the atmosphere and happiness of the day.

She said:  ‘Everybody says pace yourself, enjoy it, take a moment to stand in the corner of the marquee and take a look at everybody…Remember those small moments, take a moment with your husband to look at everybody so you remember that day because it goes so fast and it is one of the best days of your life. I know it’s a cliché but it absolutely is.’

We suggest purchasing your bridal heels around 3-4 months before your wedding, so you have time to break them in so that they comfortably fit and of course – last all day long.
