ForFootSake Get Yourself A Pair Of These Shoes
Are you looking for the perfect shoe for your wedding day? A shoe that looks good and offers comfort all day long? Well look no further, ForFootSake offer all of this and much more…
Shoes should look great, be comfortable to wear and be affordable. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Many shoes and some expensive designer brands are made with heavy leather and need to be broken in. Step in, ForFootSake, who offer shoes that not only look great, but they are handmade from the softest premium calfskin, lined with silky leather and have soft self-forming insoles. They are ready to wear with extreme comfort, all day long!
Crafted handmade shoes are wearable art
Charles McEvoy, the man behind ForFootSake has always loved shoes. As he says, ‘My grandfather wore handmade Italian shoes and travelled to his home in Italy to get them every year. Growing up in a family of artists, fashion and dress designers and as an engineer, I appreciate the practical that also appeals to the eye.
‘The notion of having to break-in shoes is not one I subscribe to. The days of army boot construction with heavy leathers should be confined to history. Style, comfort, quality and passion are the most important attributes for me and as Oscar Wilde once said, “I have the simplest of tastes, I am always satisfied with the best”.
‘I travelled to Italy, Portugal, France, Belgium and Spain to find true craftsmen and artists who love what they do. My ambition with ForFootSake is to bring to Ireland beautifully hand-crafted shoes made with passion.’
The handmade shoes shown on the ForFootSake website are a true mix of European flair, Italian calf leather, exotic fabrics and materials, Spanish fire and artistry and pure traditional skills and craft; all combine with other influences to create a truly wonderful shoe. Every shoe has been chosen with care and handmade. The designers, specialists and artists who have created these shoes love what they do in the hope that you will too!
