What a day for white wedding, Fifi Geldof gets married to long term boyfriend in a private wedding ceremony.
Fifi Geldof ties the knot to Andrew Robertson among close family and friends in St Mary Magdalene and St Laurence church in Davington.
The beautiful bride wore a white lace gown complete with a dropped waist, three quarter length sleeves and scalloping around the neckline.
Fifi carried a hand tied bouquet of white and periwinkle roses surrounded by baby’s breath and greenery. She also wore a traditional white veil accessorised with a simple bohemiam chain headpiece.
The groom looked dapper in a navy pinstripe suit with a cadbury purple tie as he arrived for the big day.
The happy couple, who have been engaged for two years said their vows in the church beside Sir Bob Geldof’s country home in Kent. The same church where the family laid to rest Fifi’s mother Paula and sister Peaches.
The newlyweds wanted an intimate affair, sharing only one image of the day. They took precautions to ensure it was private by having their star studded guest list leave any phones and cameras at the door. The security team placed the guest’s valuables in clear zip lock bags and stowed them safely until after the nuptials. Famous faces who attended the wedding included, Jools Holland, Ashley James and Thomas Cohen to name a few.
The eldest daughter of rock legend Bob Geldof announced her engagement to sand sculptor Andrew Robertson in 2014 shortly after the death of her elder sister Peaches. As reported by Hello! Magazine, Peaches had known of her sister’s happy news before she passed.
Fifi shared the happy news with her followers on Instagram by posting a picture of her sparkling solitaire engagement ring captioned,
Boy done good.
