Choose and order wedding invitations and stationery
Wedding invitations and stationery is the first thing your guests will see that is connected to the wedding, making it important to get the styling and theme right, to reflect you and your other half’s ideas and themes for the big day. From cute printed timeline stories on your love story, to ditzy floral patterned invites or chic and clean-cut geometric prints there really is no limit to creative designs!
Shop for wedding rings
Whilst many brides and grooms-to-be leave choosing their wedding rings to the last minute, we recommend taking some time to find the perfect match. With more choice than ever, there are a huge variety of wedding rings in different cuts, stones and styles out there at the moment, meaning it’s all the more important to find one that is unique to you and your engagement ring! A top tip is to look at the jewellers you got your engagement ring from to find a good match in a wedding band.
Purchase groomsmen, groom and best man’s suits
Yes, the men’s outfits take time too! encourage the guys to gather together and head out on the hunt for fitting suits to ensure they’re looking dapper on the day of the wedding. Remember, the grooms suit should always be at least slightly different to the rest of the groom’s party!
Plan your hen and stag do’s
This part is almost as exciting as the wedding itself! You may have passed the baton onto the maid of honor and the best man, however if you haven’t, It’s important to plan early if you’re planning on heading away on holiday for a hen or stag. Whether it’s an afternoon tea , a night on the tiles, a holiday away or an adrenline fuelled adventure there are hundreds of options out there. Or for the more untraditional couple, there is always the option of a joint ‘sten’ party!
Choose your wedding favours
If you’re wanting to gift your guests with something unique or personalized, it’s a good to decide and order early to avoid disappointment. Alternatively, if you are opting for a little DIY job and have a large wedding party, then starting the creative process earlier means you can spread the tasks and avoid a last minute panic to get them finished!
