Irish Blogger Suzanne Jackson Reveals Wedding Details
Ireland’s top online influencer Suzanne Jackson has revealed further plans and details about her upcoming nuptials for the summer on her wedding blog.
The entrepreneur, who is the woman behind the beauty blog and product line So Sue Me and with a huge 205k Instagram following, has been detailing plans for hair, makeup, flowers, bridesmaid dresses and venues on her website www.sosueme.ie/wedding . The Irish beauty blogger has been with Fiancé Dylan for over four years, following a stunning proposal in the Maldives in December 2015. Since then, Suzanne has been updating her followers on all things wedding related via her blog.
It was revealed that the loved-up duo will say their vows at their local church in Skerries on August 5th 2017, followed by a lavish reception at Powerscourt Hotel, Dublin, Co. Wicklow. The couple recently attended a friend’s wedding at Powerscourt last week, with the blogger sharing snaps on Instagram- it certainly makes for a beautiful wedding venue, with the most breath-taking grounds!
Bridal Party Hair
Her most recent blog post divulged her choice of hair stylists for herself, her mum and the bridal party-five bridesmaids and three flower girls! Suzanne says “hair is a BIG deal and unless my hair is done right, I don’t feel like myself, and if it’s done wrong, I just can’t relax, so as you can imagine, I was really eager to get the right style sorted for my big day”
With a total of 10 in the bridal party, Suzanne decided that having everyone in the same room on the morning of the wedding getting pampered and prepped would be too much, and too manic for the wedding morning. The Irish beauty was very clear on wanting a very calm, serene and chilled vibe for getting ready on the morning of the wedding so she has devised a clever plan, saying “to have one hairdresser do ten heads, in the one house on the morning of my wedding would just be manic! So I have decided to book the bridal party into a B&B in Skerries, and they will have their hair and makeup taken care of there on the morning of the wedding” – Wedding Journal brides take note!
Whilst Suzanne is remaining tight-lipped about her wedding dress style and hair style, she has shared which hairdressers and stylists she has chosen for the big day, to create her dream look. “I chose Jane from Red Velvet and two members of her team… I don’t think I would trust anyone else”, she has also decided on top stylish Joanne Kelly to create the bridal and mother-of-the-bride looks. Having had a hair trial, Suzanne mentioned how she was ‘over the moon’ with the styling and is super excited to have Joanne style her wedding hair in August.
Flowers are a big part of Suzanne and Dylan’s day, with the Irish beauty detailing on her website that floral decor was a large part of their wedding budget, she says “we wanted to allow for a really nice flower display, when I attended my best friend’s wedding two years ago, the first thing I noticed that absolutely blew me away was her floral display” she goes on to explain how flower arrangements can really make or break a reception venue.
Suzanne shared on her blog some tips and advice for brides-to-be and how to ace the bridesmaid shopping experience. She advises brides to discuss in advance what you all would want for the big day, what you envisage and have previously liked. Suzanne states “shopping for your bridesmaids can be challenging in its own way because generally speaking, each girl will be of a different height and shape and have their own individual style and taste regarding what they would like to wear. However, the beauty blogger said the whole experience was a breeze thanks to Frock N’ Fabulous, in Dublin.
Although Suzanne has been sharing tips and inside info in the run up to herself and Dylan’s big day, she has decided to keep the most exciting details private! We can’t wait to see the gorgeous bride, and with a wedding planner on hand, it will no doubt be an amazingly lavish celebration.
